14K Gold, Blue Enamel, and Diamond Crescent Moon Necklace

$950

This is an incredible 14kt yellow gold and diamond necklace with navy blue enamel details. This fabulous piece is from the 1880’s and was converted from a brooch. This Victorian piece is in excellent condition.

There are five slightly graduated diamonds. All the diamonds are G to H in color and VS2 in clarity. These stunning diamonds range in size; the two smallest diamonds on the outer edges of the piece are both approximately 2.30 mm, the next two diamonds are approximately 3.00 mm, and the eye-catching middle diamond is approximately 3.50 mm in size. The diamonds have an approximate combined weight of 0.50 ctw. The diamonds are placed in a lifted setting which lets light shine through the stones seamlessly. The navy blue enamel accents the yellow gold incredibly well. This piece is detailed with gold beading and small accents between each diamond. The necklace weighs approximately 7.50 grams.

This piece is well marked. It contains the maker’s mark for Goldman-Kolber, an American jewelry company. The crescent hangs on a beautiful Italian 14kt gold chain which is marked on the clasp. Laid flat, the necklace (including the end of the pendant) is 19” long. This is the perfect length to show off this gorgeous antique.

This necklace is in immaculate condition. It would make an unforgettable gift or fabulous addition to your antique jewelry collection!
