Edwardian Sterling Silver & Glass Bead Necklace
This lovely hand-made sterling silver, Edwardian necklace was originally a watch chain to clip a pocket watch. Today this chain can be worn as a necklace, and a charm or pendant can be added to it. The necklace has an alternating glass link bead design- each glass bead is a soft yellow color and measures approximately 3/4 of an inch in size. It has a perfect soft summer color with a casual look, accentuating any outfit. The necklace has length, making this piece even more versatile. The chain extends about 5 inches from the necklace and at the end there is a clip; the necklace is 12 inches in length. The alternating link pattern on this sterling silver chain has been meticulously hand-constructed and you can see these details on the piece, which make it quite charming. The necklace measures 7 grams and has been tested as sterling silver. A lovely hand-made chain for a man or a woman. Circa 1910.
