Late Victorian Sterling Silver and 12K Gold Diamond Pendant

$1,750.00

This is a stunning late Victorian era 12kt gold and sterling silver diamond brooch pendant. This piece has an eye-catching, fanciful design that incorporates diamonds of different sizes, cuts, and clarity. The floral and foliate motif swirls and expands from the center. There are over 50 diamonds in this incredible piece. This listing is only for the pendant, which is ready to hang on the chain of your choice!

The diamonds range from approximately 1.50mm to 3.90mm in size. The smaller diamonds are single cut, the medium sized diamonds are round cut, and the larger diamonds are transitional brilliant cut. The largest center diamond is approximately 3.90mm in size. They range in clarity from included to VS2. Together, these diamonds have a combined weight of over one carat. This beautiful piece may be worn on a chain as a pendant or as a brooch. Although this piece is unmarked, I have tested the front as sterling silver and the back as 12kt gold.

This antique piece has its original bail and hinge. The bail attaches to the hinge, the pendant swings from the hinge. From bail to tip, this piece is approximately 1 3/4” long. This piece is approximately 1” wide. The pendant weighs approximately 7.10 grams.

This incredible antique would make an unforgettable gift or fabulous addition to your jewelry collection!
