Platinum and Diamond Edwardian Lavaliere Necklace

$1,295.00

This diamond lavaliere necklace embodies the best attributes of the Edwardian era in its use of platinum and its lace-like design. The pendant features a central leaf with offshoots of flowers that echo classic Art Nouveau lines in an angular and sweeping motif. Each element of the design is decorated with a beautiful combination of Old Mine Cut and Old European Cut diamonds. A row of diamonds, each encircled in platinum, dangles gracefully below the pendant.

The necklace contains .4 of a carat of diamonds. There are 11 diamonds, ranging in size from 2.75 - 1.5 mm. The center diamond and row of dangling diamonds are bezel set; the diamonds on the flower are bead set. The necklace weighs 4.57 grams. It is 1 3/4” x 3/4”.

This would make a wonderful bridal necklace, as the lacy design and sparkling diamonds would be a lovely compliment to a wedding dress. It is a versatile piece that can be dressed up or down for any occasion.
