Unique 18KT Yellow Gold 5-Charm Necklace
A breathtaking 18 karat yellow gold necklace with a unique collection of charms and fobs that date from the Georgian era to the Art Deco period. The five charms on the necklace are fastened into place by a small individual bales that comes from the double necklace. This sets them into place an allows for them to be displayed beautifully when worn. The necklace is fantastic; it is solid and has incredible angular links that make up its design. The five charms featured are as follows:
A 12KT gold, bloodstone and agate stone watch key from the Georgian era, circa 1870. A lovely reminder of the elegant tradition of watch wearing, in excellent antique condition. Measures 1 inch in length, with the stones at 1/2 an inch in diameter.
A vintage 14KT yellow gold majestic griffin bird claw clasping a fresh water pearl, representing power. The charm measures 3/4 of an inch in total with a 5mm pearl.
A vintage 14KT gold milagro of a fist clenching and arrow, a symbol of power and strength, as well as peace. It measures 1.5 inches by 1 inch wide.
A 12KT gold, spinning watch key with an ornate organic design measuring 1-1/4 inches.

Traditionally, the fobs were accessories that had an engraved insignia mark or monogram, used to personalize a wax seal. Fobs were a sign of elegance during the 19th century. The black enamel on the edge of this fob is worn due to its age but the fob is still quite beautiful and ready to be monogrammed.
