Long Victorian Era Natural Salmon Coral Necklace
This is a superb natural coral necklace with soft salmon pink colors from the Victorian era. The necklace extends to 107 inches in length. This is a uniquely long necklace, that can be worn several times around the neck. It is made of individually hand-strung and hand picked coral beads, all natural and different in size. Coral was very popular during the Victorian era and it was brought back to the Queen of England by explorers in the Mediterranean sea voyages. The coral beads are approximately 2.5-4mm in size. They are delicately strung around a thread, with a safety knot every few inches. This beaded necklace has also been recently and newly strung by hand, and features a 14 karat yellow gold lobster clasp at the end. This necklace is remarkably well made and promises to never break. The beaded coral necklace is so long and versatile one can even attach a pendant, charm or spring ring to enhance it! Pictured here you can see a vermeil koi fish pendant on a spring ring that is found through Kirsten's Corner.
