An elegant vintage Parisian-made Hermès wrist watch with quartz battery movement, circa 1980. The watch’s minimal style is refined, with four simple lines at noon, 3, 6, and 9 to denote the time. The exterior of the watch is stainless steel, which creates bold contrast against the dark watch face. This watch has lovely nostalgic tones, adding a superb vintage look to any outfit. The face of the watch has recently been redone with a black dial, giving it a cool, trendy edge. The black dial pops against the stainless steel bezel. Along with the updated face, the watch was polished out and made water resistant. A new strap was added, similar in fashion to the original. It has a rich walnut brown color and the leather is in great condition. It is marked “Subachi” and “genuine leather”. The buckle is stainless steel and marked “inox,” French for stainless.
The back of the stainless steel watch is marked with the Hermès H and maker’s mark, as well as reference number 51450. The crown of the watch and steel bezel are both marked Hermès as well.
The bracelet watch length is 8 inches. The face of the watch measures 3/4” x 1”. It weighs 18 grams.
